Feminity and Masculanity

I have had this sense of a feeling recently about the Feminity and Masculanity - which felt like are the other words for Energy (Shakthi) and Matter (Purusha) respectively. Just look at the properties of all those described under these words - they match right? Shakthi roopam - that refers to the ‘Ammavaru’ (Goddess) which translates to the feminine power. Purusha roopam - that refers to the ‘Ayyavaru’ (God) which translates to the masculine power. We need to dive a bit deeper in to understand more properties of these two forms , which then can be related to the Energy and the Matter. And to my understanding so far, I have got to a conclusion that Energy is the Shakthi/Feminity and Matter is the Purusha/Masculanity. Hmm..! :)

Goda Kalyanam

Well, After I wrote the previous post on my blog - I had come across something from Vrindavan. It was the temple of Sri Ranganath ji at Vrindavan. I was reminded of something and I saw a picture which led me to the website of the temple where I got to read the history of this temple which says - “ This temple was built to fulfil one of the wishes of Sri Goda Devi, which was to spend her life at the feet of Lord Sri Krishna in the Brindavanam (Vrindavan).” I was astonished! I thought this temple was built sometime before like a few months or may be an year or two ago, but the history said it was build in the 1800’s!! After this, I heard somewhere (don’t remember where exactly) that Sri Goda Devi is the reincarnation of Sri Radha Devi. 🥹🙏 I got to witness Sri Goda Kalyanam with Sri Krishna , usually performed on the first day of Pushya masam, which falls on the day after Sankranthi.

RadhaKrishna - a new perspective

I am sure you heard of Radha Krishna and their eternal love story. I have heard a lot of versions of the question 'Why Krishna and Radha did not get married on Earth?'  Some said, theirs was an eternal marriage and some said they were not married because they were already 'one'. Well, while I do really believe all these as a believer of Sanatani, I also have a new version that stricked my thoughts lately, which goes in the perspective of generic thoughts that are at the level of the humans, considering the aspects like mentality, compatibility, and such. Read on.  Radha ma and her lifestyle: Radha Devi was a 'Gopika'. Gopis and Gopikas are a sect of people who in general are very calm with a simple lifestyle of living close to nature, taking care of the cattle being their major daily work, their food is majorly sourced from the cattle like Milk, Ghee, and Butter. Krishna ji and his lifestyle: Krishna, though was living with Gopis, was actually born into a Kshat...
