The ‘Ramayana in 21st Century’
I have had this random thought of what would Ramayana be like if it happened in today's world? Well, here is how it felt it would be like - The Scene: When Rama got married and got ready for the Coronation event, and then he had to go to the forest instead of becoming a King. The Reactions : Now, that's going to be big news on TV saying -" The King of Ayodhya is sending his son to the Forest. Coronation canceled. What would be the reasons?" And the in-home situations might be like this (if the people were from today) - "Ah! I know this lady is the reason. She entered my son's life and there you go, he who had to become a king is now going to the forest." "Look at what happened to my son, Lakshmana - he is going to accompany his brother? He cannot become the King either agh! No happiness for my son and my daughter-in-law is sleeping for years." " Oh! you, Viswamitra, what kind of a girl have you chosen for my boy." " O...
